Do I need an account

No. but you can get one if you want. Right now an account lets Have your name next to your high scores (rather than Anon), lets you vote on improvements to the site, rate games, and make suggestions/ report problems, as new features are added having an account will become more important. Remember you can use the anonymous acount to make suggestions/ report problems, but you can not vote with it.

Feel free to add comments, suggestions for new features or upgrades to the system, criticisms, report errors or spelling errors.

For none toolshed games you wil have to contact the games developer. Contact information can usually be found in the game itself.

Toolshed Games is in Beta, what does this mean?

The system is still being tested, buy is open for people to use. It may still contain bugs, and new features may well be added.

What is voting, and how do i do it?

Suggesions for improvements provided by the users and the developers are voted on. Each suggestion is rated 0 - 10 . 0 means you dont want the improvement or change, and 10 means you want it now. The improvement with the highest score goes to the top of the development priority list.

You can vote using the vote page. You need to have an account and be logged in to vote.   Votes using the "annonymous account" are not be counted.

I am worried about my privacy

Accounts on toolshed are not indetifiable be person, we only ask for a username and email address when you open an account. If you still have concerns, please use a free email service like gmail or hotmail and use this address for toolshed, you will be about as anonymous to us as you can be by doing this.

If you sill have a concern you can log into toolshed using the Anonymous account.

Security Issues

If you are using toolshed.co.uk on a computer / account that other people have access to it is advisible not to click the "remember me option", also click the "logout" link after you have finished (this automatically stops the computer from remembering you.

What will you use my email address for?

We send you information about toolshed every now and then to let you know about system updates and improvements, as well as any planned maintainence that may effect the service. Your email address is also used if you have forgotten your password.

I have a game that I want to submit?

If you want to use our score API, please read Toolshed API, How To.
If you dont want to use the score API just end your game to submitgames@toolshed.co.uk with either the swf attached or the url that the game file can be played from(embed link), http://gamelocation.com/mygame.swf
